Crystal36-AXAA 2026 Conference Themes
This is the first combined meeting of the Society of Crystallographers in Australia and New Zealand (SCANZ) and the Australian X-ray Analytical Association (AXAA). The conference aims to represent the diversity of topics covered in the individual society meetings but to highlight the unified approach we have tried to blend those topics into broad themes. Please select a broad theme to contribute to and the organisers will use this information and your abstract keywords to organise an integrated and collaborative joint program.
X-ray, Neutron and Electron Diffraction, X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), Microscale Methods and Imaging Techniques
Structural biology, including cryo-electron microscopy, Pharmaceuticals, soft matter and the use of AI systems like Alphafold
Metals, Alloys, Energy Storage, Materials and Structural Chemistry
Applications in the Environment, Geology and Mining, Industrial Materials, Archaeology, Heritage and Cultural Materials
New instrumentation, in-situ and operando experiments, and advanced data analysis methods

Follow the prompts in the abstract submission tool but abstracts will include: title, authors, affiliation institution details, keywords, abstract and references. An image can be uploaded too.
